Company Introduction
Sefofane Air Charters operates in Botswana, Namibia, South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Zambia. The airline’s main base of operations is in Maun, Botswana. The airline was founded in 1991 by Neil Lumsden and Suzy Lumsden operating one Cessna 206. Today Sefofane operates over 30 aircraft and also has its own maintenance company Northern Air Maintenance. The company flies primarily for Wilderness Safaris, one of the largest safari operators in Southern Africa.

It’s fleet consists of the following aircraft:

Minimum Requirements

• A valid commercial pilot’s license and instrument rating
• A minimum of 250 hrs of flying experience
• Having any of the following Type Ratings is a distinct advantage in the selection criteria:
-Cessna C172
-Cessna 210
-Cessna 310
-The most advantageous being Cessna C206 and C208B (as you can get on-line much quicker).
• An Instructor’s Rating in any of these
aircraft is an added bonus to your chances of a successful application

Howzit!

Añadiendo información:

Sefofane acaba de contratar a 4 nuevos pilotos para todo el resto de temporada. 2 de ellos locales obligados por las autoridades del país. Aunque es una mejora, porque hace unas semanas se prohibió la contratación de extranjeros, ante lo que los operadores protestaron y llegaron a un acuerdo.

Y en el resto de compañías de la zona no hay ninguna esperanza de contratación para este año tampoco.
